Nodalis is working alongside the Société de Patrimoine des Eaux du Niger (SPEN) and the State of Niger for the negotiation of an amendment to their concession contract. This amendment will provide for the extension of the SPEN’s scope of activity to 19 new urban and semi-urban areas.

Nodalis will analyse the implications of a change in the perimeter of the concession on the economic and financial stability of the sector, as well as on the contractual obligations binding the SPEN, the State and the Société d'Exploitation des Eaux du Niger (SEEN).

This project is a first step towards a broader extension of the SPEN’s activities to 43 new centers, as envisaged by the National Program for Water Supply and Sanitation (PNAEPA).
