{"id":2341,"date":"2019-12-20T13:09:00","date_gmt":"2019-12-20T12:09:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/nodalis.fr\/financement-autonome-durable-autorite-bassin-niger\/"},"modified":"2022-02-18T10:17:50","modified_gmt":"2022-02-18T09:17:50","slug":"autonomous-sustainable-financing-niger-basin-authority","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nodalis.fr\/en\/autonomous-sustainable-financing-niger-basin-authority\/","title":{"rendered":"Autonomous and sustainable financing of the Niger Basin Authority (NBA)"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Nodalis and its partners <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cacg.fr\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">CACG<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.isl.fr\/en\/about-isl\/who-we-are\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">ISL <\/a>and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.iowater.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">IOWater <\/a>accompanied the Niger Basin Authority from May to December 2019 to prepare the<strong> implementation of a contribution to the financing of the NBA by hydropower producers<\/strong> operating structural dams in the basin.<br>The assignment focused on the <strong>financial, legal and operational feasibility of the contribution<\/strong>, as well as on <strong>capacity reinforcement for the NBA<\/strong>.
